In 2004 I was exposed first hand to the true nature of this malicious disease when my mother was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer. The next two years that followed were nothing short of an emotional roller coaster. In late 2006 my mother died of Cancer. Her death was not peaceful nor dignified. 

Ovarian cancer kills about 800 women in Australia every year and is the sixth most deadly type of cancer in women. Yet 60 per cent of women are unaware that there is no early detection test for the disease.

The only way to stop others from witnessing their loved ones go through this terrible experience is through research. The Cancer Foundation does not recieve money from government so its up to us.
